It is organised by AQUA ESPA\u00d1A, TecnoAqua and IndustriAmbiente, and water reuse takes up a large part of the programme: four of its ten panels deal with water treatment and reuse.<\/p>\n<p>The opening panel, on legislation and public initiatives, has four talks, three of them on reclaimed water:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Ana Isabel Gonz\u00e1lez, Head of Service for Water Quality at Spain&#8217;s Directorate-General for Water, will present the new guide from the Ministry for the Ecological Transition and the Demographic Challenge (MITECO) on interpreting Royal Decree 1085\/2024, which approved the Water Reuse Regulation.<\/li>\n<li>Vanesa Mateo, Director General for Water of the Principality of Asturias, will explain the initiative to supply industry with reclaimed water from a municipal treatment plant.<\/li>\n<li>Fernando Cabello, Director of Water Cycle Services at the Barcelona Metropolitan Area (AMB), will present the AMB&#8217;s Reclaimed Water Master Plan and the industrial water project in Barcelona&#8217;s Zona Franca industrial estate.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>The panel is completed by Jordi Agust\u00ed, Director General for Water Transition of the Government of Catalonia, on Catalonia&#8217;s draft water transition law.<\/p>\n<p>The second panel covers financing and investment in water-efficiency projects, with CDTI, Spain&#8217;s innovation agency, Banc de Sabadell and Act4Water.
